The WVU School of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education presents the Simulation Certificate Program (Sim I, II, and III).
The West Virginia University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The WVU Office of CME designates this live activity for a maximum of 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Simulation is integrated into most clinical education programs, and the need for qualified instructors that understand new and emerging technology and the ability to provide clear and objective feedback to learners is in great demand. The use of simulation education and training creates a safer environment for patients and improves healthcare delivery.
Conducted in WVU’s state-of-the-art STEPS Simulation Center, this three-day intensive immersion course is designed for clinicians who want to expand their simulation education knowledge and skills through hands-on training with cutting-edge technology taught by industry experts.
Throughout the program, you will be engaged in an interprofessional approach to experiential learning with the opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits.
$800 for internal participants; $1,550 for external participants; an additional $50 for CEU. Lunch will be provided.
